Wow! What a week of training up in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia on the North Carolina climbing camp. Riders saw close to 30,000 feet of climbing in five days including very intense climbs, beautiful countryside, new power record, great meals, gravel excursions, waterfalls, and a ton of smiles, laughs and good times. Super proud of this bunch for all of their hard efforts during the camp. Big shout out to Hammer Nutrition and Tom Elbel for helping with SAG Support!
IMPORTANT information and START LOCATION CHANGE FOR THIS SATURDAY’S Florida Polytechnic Time Trial. This will be part of a special edition time trial route of 8.5 miles. The location of this time trial is one of my favorite roads in all of Florida known for its old country bike trail style road feel accompanied by the fresh smell of orange groves and the real Florida vibe.🌎🍊🌞
I am choosing this Saturday for this location due to higher traffic expected to be on University BLVD due to an event at Florida Polytechnic University.
We will be starting the time trial on Old Lake Alfred Road just south (0.25 miles) of the junction of Old Lake Alfred Road and 557A. Not only is Old Lake Alfred road beautiful, but there is almost no traffic here. 👍
