The Heartland of Florida Cycling Camp is back for its 4th year in a row!

Want to take part on a fun and challenging cycling training camp adventure tour to kick off 2021? We just set the dates for the Heartland of Florida Cycling Camp coming back for its 4th year in a row for January 15-17, 2021. Martin Luther King Day will be the next Monday which will give riders and extra day to recover after this epic weekend. This is a 3-day, 2-night all inclusive camp with 310 miles of riding throughout the Heartland of Florida with some of the best cycling roads in the state.

We will ride from Florida Polytechnic University through the quiet farmland southwest towards Sarasota then south to Venice, Florida. We will then ride on the Legacy Bike Trail followed by the bright blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico on Casey Key to conclude the first day of the ride with 127 miles. After a good nights rest with a big authentic Mexican dinner and breakfast buffet, we will ride over to Sebring, Florida through Sweetwater, Florida cutting through some remote undeveloped stretches of Florida and some Pristine gravel which is road bike friendly. On night two we will stay at the historic Inn on the Lakes hotel with a big dinner at the Chicanes Restaurant right at the hotel.

Riders will then get a good nights sleep before departing north through Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Wales, Haines City where riders will ride on and near the famous scenic highway 17 and side streets through rolling hills and orange groves making our way on up back towards Florida Polytechnic University. The final miles of the trip take us on Old Lake Alfred Road which is the beautiful quiet road in Polk County where we hold the Special edition time trial. Riders will then arrive back at Florida Polytechnic University and enjoy a cold beer or Hammer Recoverite before departing.

Mark your calendars and do not miss out on this amazing adventure!
